Homeschool 5th/6th grade Science Teacher

The Academy Charter School’s Homeschool Support Program is seeking enthusiastic teacher(s)for our Homeschool Science classes at our Lone Tree Tues/Thurs and Wednesday locations teaching in our 5th/6th grade class. The ideal candidate(s) will provide an enriching and motivating program for our students. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities:
  • Strong knowledge of Science and able to plan lessons rich in experiments and demonstrations
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Flexibility/willingness to work in non conventional classroom setting
  • Candidate(s) must be able to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Lone Tree location, 9:30-2:00. Canidate(s) may also wish to work at our Wednesday Lone Tree location, 8:30-3:00
Qualifications:
  • Candidate(s) must hold a current Elementary Colorado Teaching License.
  • Or must meet the requirements of a Highly Qualified teacher as mandated by the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA)

Salary Range: Ranges depending on taking one position or two.

Year-Round Assistant Director - Academy Kids Before & After School Program

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing assistance to the Before and After School Director in working with students, clerical tasks and other functions; mediates student conflicts; supervises students in various settings; may administer first aid; assists in the maintenance of student records; assists in the maintenance of student cumulative records through the transcription of data; performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:
  • Available to Work:
    • Regular School Year Hours: 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. M-F
    • Summer Hours: 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. M-F
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be over 25 years old
  • Ability to work with students Kindergarten-8th grade
  • CPR/First Aid/UP Certified
  • Medical Admin/Medical Delegation certificate
  • Able to drive for Field Trips
  • Must have 3 years working with school-age children
  • General office/computer skills.
  • Polished professional appearance

Salary Range: $15/hour
Start Date: June 3, 2019

Year-Round - Academy Kids Before and After School Program Assistant

  • Must be available to work during summers. Flexible hours available.
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Ability to work with students Kindergarten-8th grade
  • CPR/First Aid/UP Certified. Training supplied.
  • Able to drive for Field Trips

Salary Range: $12-15/hour
Start Date: June 3, 2019
